This MBA myth

There is a lot of talk going on about MBA and the reality is an average Indian MBA seems to be nowhere likely to get placement unless he comes out of a top tier management school even which is facing significant challenges. We have so many colleges across the country offering MBA courses and very few of them have competent faculty to teach high management concepts. Its all like the blind leading the blind. Personally I have b een watching MBA graduates being hired by some NGO's to raise funds by door to door canvassing. You do not need an MBA to do that. We have slowly diminshed the value of Management Studies by thoughtlessly granting affiliations to colleges which do not deserve.

It is true the quality of MBA differs from institution to instituion but more and more young men and women in our country are becoming business savvy, talking business jargon, thinking in terms of six sigma and questioning you whether you have core competence. It wasn't there few years ago. The level of such business wisdom and knowledge is quite amazing.
As for unemployment , our system gets clogged by negative forces within our society. We need great leaders to take our country to the next level. We need fearless and honest administrators who would take control of poor governance. We need judiciary without corruption. Perhaps more damage is done by the educated who act as mere tools in the hands of
of those who hold power.
