I am concerned about my children as times have changed a lot. The  world is  becoming too much dehumanised. Schools are after results, money and propoganda. There is false elitism taking over a society. How we could bring up children amidt this darkening world?
The internet is full of Porno , the TV is full of low level entertainment, the media is after sensation...We have created an environment of chaos. I am really worried as a mother.

Yes….Times have changed ….             If you are to raise your children to be successful, develop their emotional intelligence which is vital. In the contemporary world, EQ is more important than IQ “While IQ measures ability to deal with numbers, words, objects and figures, EQ measures ability to deal with people.” Daniel Goleman, a psychologist  points out that our ability to handle social situations, control impulses and emotions, is four times more important than intellect in terms of building a successful work life. Success today is driven by team work.  Children bring their values from homes and from what they hear and what they see. In other words it raises many questions about how their parents have acted in front of them. You may have to do  lot of "homework" and ask yourself  whether you have been a role model for your children?  Have you ever lashed out at everyone when you are angry? Have you taught your children to respond to their emotions well or ask for help.? Modern children are extremely sensitive and intelligent. Unless parents are level headed and disciplined they are not going to bring up the best kids. No point in blaming the world.

  Dear Administrator,

You seem to have missed the point.  There is a genuine fear about the culture of our times which has evolved and created a bad environment for our kids to grow in.  We are not blaming the world as you have pointed out but we are agitated and getting scared of the current trends. Children develop negative attitudes very early. They are abusive of their rights. They refelct the  dangerous trends and patterns. Schools are not emphasising on morality or good behaviour. Schools are after results. They do not care about the slow learners.
