Different Fractions have created brand loyalties, regional members and sub groups responding to the need for accreditation by the member schools. A common perception from this historical controversy of internationally minded education suggests a multicultural group of at least 34 nationalities is required to promote diversity in school culture. Failing to notice this important aspect of cultural diversity, there are hundreds of schools in India claiming to provide International Education. Most among them get the wrong end of the stick mistaking the concept of Internationalism by market driven forces. Those few ideology driven schools maintaining high standards are hidden from our view.

Initial discussion :
The process of building a school with our consultancy starts with an initial discussion by paying Rs. 5000/. This discussion is either in person or on the phone according to the client’s wish.

This is

  • to assess and focus on the clients’ needs to be accomplished and the specific  outcomes requested.
  • to understand what our clients want us do and to define our roles and responsibilities .
  • to clarify doubts and to indicate the basic requirements for a project such as land title clearance,  the finance and the formation of the trust.
  • evaluate the nature of the project whether it is new or one awaiting further development, legal and technical complexities and the current status.
  • to determine that there is a good fit between us and our clients and the possibility of working together.
 
Feasibility Study  : 
Before launching a School project, forming a scientific perspective of the market is crucial. We do not wish to proceed to the designing stage unless a qualitative and quantitative research is conducted in the neighbourhood. A school is built for the educational needs of the local community and not the other way.The community’s expectations and aspirations are important aspects to consider while allocating the budget. The research study includes the financial status of the parents and their affordability to support quality education. In the name of international standards, it would be inappropriate to overlook cost containment and opt for everything “goldplated.” The feasibility study would evaluate requirements of and options for the proposed school. Quality comes from teachers and not from advanced infrastructural facilities.

Curriculum design:

Curriculum design is a set of assumptions, concepts, values, and practices that constitutes a way of impacting student learning for quality assurance. There are four components in every curriculum namely objectives, content, learning experiences and evaluation. Designers plan the curriculum, institutions and teachers deliver the curriculum and students learn and experience the curriculum.

On Friday 6th and Saturday 7th of February 2009, during the National Meet on introducing ‘Design and Innovation’ in school curriculum at the Industrial Design Centre (IDC), Indian Institute of Technology Bombay fortyone participants from the Academia made recommendations to the Ministry of Human Resources and Development on the content, methods of learning in schools, Implementing ‘Design and Innovation’ in schools. Chennaipage shares their philosophy on curriculum planning which should be design oriented and innovative from the early stages.
 
This is in line with what David Kolb’s theory as early as in 1976 was known as “Experiential Learning’ making sense of concrete experiences. We plan the curriculum foremost to suit the cultural environment of the local community and to comply with the standards mandated by the accreditation boards whether national or international.

Children’s safety is a priority issue in the modern context of school Education. Taking the emotional and mental custody of the children for most part of the day, teachers are accountable for their academic and moral development. Their role in the life of the children is crucial and in most cases they are the heroes who motivate . inspire and uplift the young minds. When teachers are not sufficiently equipped to take up the challenges they can cause irreversible damages in the lives of the children. Chennaipage takes the responsibility of making background checks and train he teachers with the skills necessasry for classroom management.
